Prevention is certainly the key when it comes to manual handling, with more and more businesses undertaking training in this area to avoid staff injury and absenteeism.
The course assists delegates in identifying situations where manual handling is absolutely necessary, and provides the skills and the knowledge required to perform manual lifting and handling operations competently and safely, with increased environmental awareness.
The information contained within the course is based on the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992, amended 2002. In addition, these regulations implement European Directive 90/269/8EEC.
